LUNA Bar Review & Giveaway!

Did you know that LUNA, The Whole Nutrition Bar for Women, is the first nutrition bar that provides nutrients us women often lack, like folic acid, calcium, and vitamin D? Vitamins that are essential to a woman’s everyday needs.

I am not one for taking my vitamins everyday. I have 2 young children at home- I am a wife, a mother, and a contributor to the full-time female work force.  I also run this blog, which I love- but as you know, also takes time.  It’s no wonder I can’t squeak in my vitamins everyday!  When I heard that LUNA Bar would actually be a delicious way of getting some much-needed vitamins, something I could snack on between phone calls or tuck into my purse and take on the road-I just knew I had to give LUNA Bar’s a try!

LUNA Bar Chocolate Dipped Coconut.  I love coconut, and am obsessed with chocolate so I was very excited to try this flavor!  I expected this bar to be crunchy, a little like a granola bar-it was the complete opposite. LUNA’s Chocolate Dipped Coconut Bar is moist, rich in flavor, with  just enough chewiness to keep your mouth busy but not make your jaw ache.  The chocolate and coconut share a deep marriage in this particular LUNA Bar, one that invokes happy taste buds and makes you forget you are eating healthy. One of the best parts about eating this bar, was that it was fresh-like it was just baked yesterday.  Packaging seems to be a very important part of consumer opinion and ranking nowadays.  Luna not only makes their packages aesthetically pleasing to the eye, they also ensure their product will remain as fresh as the day it was baked.

LUNA Bar Chocolate Chunk.  Not too sweet, but just sweet enough-LUNA’s Chocolate Chunk bar is the perfect mix of decadent chocolate and figure-friendly ingredients. The Chocolate Chunk Bar is a slightly crunchy, lightly sweetened eating adventure.  The flavors in this bar are not overpowering, making for a great breakfast or morning snack.  LUNA definitely does not sacrifice flavor for nutrition, in their products.
